Your Role

As a Production Engineer, you will work with support and development of the production process with an increased focus on manufacturability, optimized production flows, as well as review and improvement of machines and equipment.

Specifically, this role includes tasks such as:

• Working on continuous improvements of equipment and processes in the form of design solutions, efficiency enhancement, and quality assurance of processes
• Implementing product changes and establishing work instructions
• Specifying needs for tools and fixtures as well as starting up new equipment
• Providing technical support to assembly personnel in their work
• Being responsible for interfaces both internally and externally

The team possesses broad knowledge in various areas that complement each other, and you will become the missing piece of the puzzle. You will be offered a varied job with a lot of responsibility and will work closely with colleagues in different parts of the organization.

Your Profile

For this role, we see that you are a driven and self-sufficient production engineer with a passion for challenging existing ways of working and finding new effective solutions.

• You are open to continuous development and improvement.
• You have a good ability to lead yourself and work with others in a team.
• Your communication skills are good in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Previous experience in production engineering and an understanding of production and production processes.
• Knowledge in composites
• Experience in automation and digitization of production processes
• Understanding and knowledge of Lean Production.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
